Introducing our 'One Heart at a Time' stories
Sandra Bullen – Chief Marketing Officer
Our work is best understood by what it builds so we’d like to share this video with you which explains the steps we follow to help organisations achieve long-lasting and meaningful change, placing humanity at the operational core.
“The way we strengthen our hearts is by finding and expanding the gold within, and sometimes that means panning for it in the bends of the river of life.” Above the Line: Living and Leading with Heart – Stephen and Mara Klemich
Over 25 years ago, Stephen and Mara Klemich made a promise to each other while on their honeymoon; to change the world one heart at a time, and out of this promise, Heartstyles was born. They set out to explore the principles that drive human behaviour and how, by interpreting them, we can tap into the best of our hearts and minds. They spent the next two decades testing multiple data points on a global scale to measure and validate the following simple yet powerful premise: Having a clear view of your current behaviours and knowing what motivates them can give you a clear focus on what you need to concentrate on and why, when it comes to your personal and professional development.
Right now, organisations around the world and across different industries are using Heartstyles to create thriving cultures where teams collaborate and leaders inspire. They may all be at different stages of their journey but they all share the desire to grow and develop their people, giving them practical tools to achieve their goals and overcome any challenges.
Our programmes don’t fall under traditional profiling methods. We don’t tell people who they are. Instead, we show them what they can be, which is why over the years, we’ve been happy to hear how Heartstyles impacts not only the way companies are run but also how it impacts people’s hearts and minds in all aspects of their lives. This is where personal development meets character development, bringing about long-term change.
We think the most powerful way to tell a story is to let the person whose story it is tell it, so we will do just that over the coming weeks by sharing our ‘One Heart at a Time’ series, where people around the world who have experienced the Heartstyles programmes share their experiences.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to talk to us and thank them for being so open about their personal transformation experiences.
